*sigh* That was so dark, but I loved reading it. Poor, poor Jenny. Makes me want to hug her so badly lol.

Btw, question for you 'cause I'm slightly confused: Why has Jenny been speaking Russian? She got the first bout of intel because Salvo figured she was just an American girl and didn't bother to censor his conversation, no?

Anyway, looking forward to more!

Ahhh. See, my panic about catching that slight continuity issue was justified. I just rewrote a passage, right when Jenny wakes up, where Jethro muses the same internal questions you just asked me. I will get it resolved! I promise. :)

I think the writer magic is going to make a whole new series after this one. This is what I get for messing with continuity. ;) As for the canon writers ... merf. Let's not go there.

All I can say really. Goddamn it you are an amazing writer! This chapter was brutal but beautiful - I feel so sorry for poor Jenny. Your description of their time really shows how Jenny went from innocent little Probie to be hardass Director. This is amazing.

Of course there are a couple of canon hiccups that I need to work around, but I'll figure it out. This is what I get for just writing it. ;)

I'm glad though that the way she grows into the woman we see on the show is making sense. I never liked that they made it seem she made it to director in like eight year or something. Always bugged me. Jenny had to learn the hard way, somehow, that deep cover is painful. It's why she's able to do what she does to DiNozzo. I don't doubt that she felt sympathetic for him, but she controlled that situation with him beautifully.

Thank you. I was so sucked into Ziva and then all of a sudden Jenny started talking and she hasn't shut up. Really. And I love her so much. :)
