This show!?!? That was the worst episode ever! WTF are your priorities. Your mad at tyler for giving up his free will (which wasn't much of a choice in the first place), and then you just steal your brother's?! NO. This is not how family works. Instead of just making a place for him if HE wants to leave, you force him and steal his memory?! You can't do that to people. You shouldn't do that to people. (AND why aren't all of these people on vervain 24/7? Take some stock in your personal/mental safety!) And how dare the show make a romantic moment out of a gross removal of free will (repeat offense!). Doesn't Elena get that when you steal people's choices and their awareness of the danger they could be in, it usually results in death or other grievous harm? I used to be some kind of Damon/Elena shipper but I can't. Now all it makes me feel are exclamations of "eewwwwwww!"
And not one of my favorite people were in this episode. Caroline and Katherine where are youuuuuu? I can only hope that you are off together being awesome.
There are so many ways this episode is ridiculous. Why on earth are Jeremy and Tyler hanging out messing with a crossbow? Just chillin' in the woods with my bro. Drinking beer, shooting a crossbow. What.
And I don't even know. I wish Bonnie hadn't even mentioned the coffins to Elena.
EDIT: For real, everything about Jeremy this episode was great. Loved that he shot that hybrid guy with the crossbow (back to Tyler and Jeremy hanging out, so I guess it was relevant), and then proceeded to chop off his head. Go Jeremy! If the show just abandons him in Denver (of all places) y'know he's going to get into some vampire trouble. I hope.
I don't know if I buy Elena freaking at the head chop. Mostly because she sees all this vampire violence all the time. And I think she's angry at what kinds of situations she and her family are in all the time. I guess I'd expect her to be the one chopping?
Ugh. I would stop watching but I can't! Things could still be awesome! (but probably not.)
