Its been awhile.
For real. I'm so busy now! Grad school and all. Though I still somehow find time to watch far too much television...
I've been sucked into The Big Bang Theory of all things, which I watched on and off at home, but not really on my own. My room mate got me into it! And I have discovered that the X-files is so awesome. So much science as well as weird stuff, which are both my favorite.
And Supernatural! Seriously, how are there so many shows I know I would have loved that I never watched? Like Buffy. I didn't really watch it as a kid, which is ridiculous. I like Supernatural quite a lot, because I enjoy almost anything with ghosts, though I don't know that I like it as much as Ghost Hunt (probably because there are more regular characters. I enjoy Sam and Dean and all, but some of their drama seems manufactured sometimes because there is no one else around for them to talk to without a whole lot of exposition).
Anyway! Now some episode discussion!
TVD season 3, episode 4; Disturbing Behavior:
How awesome is Caroline?! SO awesome. Fight with Damon? A+++. And I loved her talk with Elena about Damon. Those were definitely things that need to be said, and I think Caroline managed it well, without judging Elena, but really giving her fair and necessary warning. Because for real this show glosses over so many things. Why do they bring up these subjects it they refuse to deal with them! (i.e. Andie. How could any of the characters know about that and be okay with it? /rant).
I am finding Stefan's attempts at plotting pretty funny. He seriously underestimates who he is dealing with in both instances. Rebecca interests me, I want to see what the deal is with her and Klaus. Then I am always happy to have Katherine on my screen. I am so excited for Damon and Katherine road trip shenanigans. I hope it is epic.
What is up with Bonnie's family? We really can't ever see her dad? It just feels like an excuse to skip over one particular plot to give more time to the others, with absolutely no explanation. We couldn't get a clip of Bonnie with her family? Though this whole ghost thing has bored me so far (why is Jeremy only seeing his girlfriends? I would think Jenna might be around as well...) it seems silly to just take her out of town so we can pretend like she's not doing anything.
So good things and bad things...but I was mostly pleased with the show last week. And happily looking to this thursday! ^_^
