I was just starting to think about whether or not to try to come up with any New Year's Resolutions, when I saw the "101 Things in 1001 Days" community on the homepage. I know it's kind of cliche and sappy to try to do either, but I really like to have tangible goals (as in, I really don't function without a goal to work towards), and I like the concept of having an event to initiate a goal or add some momentum. I started working on my 101 things list the night of December 30, and just now finished. It was a lot more difficult to thnk of that many goals than I expected. Some of the items I would be working towards anyways, but this lays out more concrete guidelines; other items are things that have been in the back of my mind as things that would be "cool to do someday," but haven't yet put any effort into actually bringing about.
I may still refine the details over the next couple weeks, but the basics of each item should stay the same.
