I'm co-hosting a gathering of roughly 20-30 people. I'm in search of an easy to serve and eat vegetarian (vegan better) dish that I can serve in the crock pot. I had planned to do stuffed mushrooms (not crock pot dish) but realized that the dish needs to be warm and the crock is really my only option.
Do you think if I put some foil balls with water on the bottom of the crock and then place the mushrooms on top (foil in-between layers) that that would work?
I'm coming up blank otherwise. My co-host is doing a casserole dish and soups/stews will not be feasible as this will be a stand-up gathering. Light dinner-ish dishes are what I'm after (gathering is 6-8 PM).
Thanks!
