This sprang from me trying to define "flippancy" for Meri. I told her it was a lighter form of snark, "Diet Snark" if she would.
Best line in Firefly. Or one of them, at least. There's a lot of good ones. But you just have to love Wash and his dinosaurs.
I was laughing my ass off the first time I saw Linderman say that. Lir and I figure that pot pie is a euphamism, and very preferable to being offered zuchini.
