Cumpleanos Feliz with some anime MADNESS!
Weeeeeeeeeeell!! It was my dad's b-day today. When I woke up I wished him a happy one and made him breakfast with Carla. She then did my hair afterwards. I showed him the collage I made him for his b-day as well. Leandra called me up to ask if I was going to the anime convention at FIU. I was going to try! Plus it was my dad's birthday I didn't want to do that...eventhough he WAS going to work anywayz. *sigh*
Anyway, after I asked, he was willing to drop me off to meet with my friends there. Adrian waited for me so that way I could find everyone. IT WAS EXCITING! It was my first one ever! And it was FREE! When I got to the booths I didn't know what to buy! I didn't want to spend much cuz I am saving. So I ended up buying two pins(one of Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service and one of Link) and a Battle Angel Alita manga. I saw SO many good costumes also! There was this dude who dressed like an Umbrella officer from Resident Evil. I saw Sueng-Mina from Soul Calibur, Haruna-san from FLCL, and Jack Skellington! Leandra freaked out when she saw him. All in all it was a pretty good experience.
Leandra's parents picked us up and hung out there and their house for a while until my mom picked me up coming back from my grandma's. I recorded some footage of my mom and abuela dancing to the music that was playing from a party next door. lol. HILARIOUS! My dad came home early today and we surprised him with more gifts. I shared a bed with Carla that night while her mom and Lala shared the guest room. Not a lazy day at all.
