I saw today a person with TEH greatest taste -

She was wearing exactly the same shirt as I was. *g*

I've lost my muse again. I seemed to have gotten over being average at everything, but to no avail! - I still loathe being second best to everyone else. Conclusion; do nothing at all! I see so much greatness around me that I only get depressed for even trying. I might try something else for a while, like going back to drawing instead of stupid icons. Pal is quite right - my priorities aren't quite straight when it comes to icons.

Anyhow, I'm halfway through Sense & Sensibility. Oh yeah, did I mention already that I finished P&P? Well, I did, it was great. In lack of better words. I don't know, the spurt I seemed to have reading P&P seems to have died out while reading S&S. I think I may be of the conclusion that I like P&P better. I don't say I dislike S&S - quite the contrary! but things seem to go even slower than in P&P, and while you appreciated it in P&P, it sort of is "droll" in S&S (a very much used word in describing Mr. Palmer, indeed). And what, is Elinor really 19, or did I seriously read wrong? The movie seems to lack in everything but its artsy-ness. Ang Lee, much as I respect him, is not one of my favourite directors. The inner dialog is too "silent" in the movie, and doesn't get through well enough.

I do seem to run out of things to talk about.

Oh yeah, I now have tickets to England for Sep 21. Pal is coming with me to help with the enormous amount of luggage. Also, she has never been to England before, and nor have I. Terrifying, isn't it? I am moving to the country before ever having visiting it. Do not worry, however, I am quite positive that I am going to love it, as I have already made plans to STAY. *g*

Pal is re-reading HBP - a great source of amusement to me. She is the one usually scoffing at my obsession with HP. Overall. That is. She just enjoys having a laugh at me, while secretly she gets excited of the same things I do. Most of the time.

I bought two Kartio -glasses (40cl in blueberry blue) yesterday. They are gorgeous, and will fit perfectly with my future-to-be 24h -crockery in white. In some part I am proud of being Finnish, as I do love Finnish design (to some extent). Kaj Franck is one of my favourite designers of all time (designed among other things the Kartio -glasses). Now I only have to buy my SUITCASE, as mum got me a tin case for bread. DON'T ASK! (It is quite cute, though.)
