I spent all last night and morning watching Pride & Prejudice. I have always had a thing for Jane Austen's stories so it's no great surprise to tell that I liked it very much. I though three of the episodes might have gone too slowly, but I could live with it.
I see nothing peculiar in the "Diving Scene". Yes, Darcy is handsome, but enough is enough. Quite unnecessary scene altogether.
I do wonder what Mr Darcy's first name is.
I'm still reading Emma, I'm somewhere in the middle. I have yet to read P&P and Sense and Sensibility. I actually think P&P is a better story than S&S.
I do like Mr Knightley of 'Emma' better than Mr Darcy - he came off so subdued. I don't mean I didn't like him, but I liked Knightley better.
The only time I really feel that I really am a romantic is when I read and watch classic love stories. I especially like those which portray the 19th century, the Bronte sisters and Austen et al.
I love classics.
Only four more shifts after tonight.
