I don't know what to say about today's happenings, except that I wish all the best to those affected by today's attacks in London. I do hope everything will calm down soon, let's not give those bastards the attention they obviously are seeking! Of course, bad things shouldn't be forgotten too easily, hardships make people stronger for future times, and bring people together. Sad, though, that things of this magnitude need to happen for people to unite.
People are talking about possible threats in Helsinki during the World Championships, but somehow I don't think it too likely. You never know, but Finland is really an unobtrusive country; nobody is interested in us except to say that our food is terrible. Things have blown out of proportions, really.
I do wonder, though, what the people claiming our food is bad have eaten.
Politics generally just piss me off, so I try to stay as informed as possible by merely following what's on the news. Politics pissing me off should be a reason to be more involved, though, isn't it?
OT. Went shopping today. Bought the Braun Silk Epil at 75€ - bargain! Also got Foo Fighters' album "In Your Honor", and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within for PS2 (was only 29€). I think I'm broke now, only got 100€ left or so, but pay day should be July 11th. Key word "should". Plus the 150€ they still owe me.
Work shift starts 12PM. Lovely. Get off at 6AM. I'm working night shifts all week - luckily get paid double on Sunday. Next three weeks look great as well; working all weekends and mostly night shifts, two or so afternoon shifts ending at 11PM or midnight.
