i wonder what it is about summer that makes people feel like everything has to be done suddenly and all at once. like this, now, is the only opportunity we'll have to live out our wildest ideas. is it the heat that drives us to lustful contemplations, or the fires? get ready, socal, for fire season. the hills are going to fucking light up and the skies will glow that wondrous warm hue as the red sun burns through the smog. it's tragic, but beautiful. like it's golden hour, except all day. so everyone looks good, all the time. but none of them, in whatever hour, will be you.
