Although I spent a large portion of today bemoaning the fact that I only got a lousy 4 days off between the regular school year and summer school (which starts tomorrow), a few good things happened too.
1. I woke up to a very excited (ahem) husband. This isn't too surprising, but we've been slacking in the shagging dept. since we discovered the pregnancy. This is mainly due to me feeling vomity, me being exhausted or him being sick. Thankfully, as previously stated, the 2nd trimester symptoms are upon me, including a horniness so intense that I have had several orgasms in my sleep.
2. I have been eating like a cougar. Literally, in volume and in mannerism. I was weighed 3 weeks ago at the doctor, and was pretty pleased to have only gained 3 pounds. But at that point, I was eating more like a bunny. Since that day, the cougar arrived and as we have no working scale, I was pretty sure that my weight had skyrocketed. Also, my clothes mostly don't fit, and my boobs are HUGE. I feel gynormous. I bought a scale today. I weigh the same as 3 weeks ago! Yay!
3. I got the results from the screening the dr. did on Thursday. It was testing for Down Syndrome and other abnormalities. My age puts baby risk. The results were good! 1 in 240 for DS, and 1 in 10,000 for the various Trisomy's.
4. I got the results from my big honking social studies test. The MOTHER of all tests, a bitch of a test that I needed to pass to attain permanent certification (or lose certification if I didn't pass it). And, I passed! Yay!
That is all.
