Well, my first day of flying went well. the seats were kind of cramped, and i was seated over the wings in the middle of the plane, so never got a great view... but it was still a nice time.
Italy is wonderful, the light here is so clear and the colors are vibrant.
I really like walking around and exploring things, and especially looking at all of the really cool (but small) cars that are here. I have seen a few of the 6th generation VW golfs here, which we wont get to see in the states until next year or later. Another awesome one that i saw is the new Audi hatchback, which we dont have yet either. It is quite classy.
I had gelato last night, which is Italian ice cream. I think it tastes like a slushie and ice cream together... but better because they use real fruit instead of just flavorings. I had strawberry and banana... which was amazing.
I have lots of people watching over me to make sure none of the italian girls flirt too much, or i flirt back. I miss you jess... and wish you were here to experience this with me.
One thing that i have realized is... i am the weird student speaking a different language quietly to my friends. Just like the asian students at Lock haven, mumbling things that we dont understand to each other as we pass... now we i am the one invading their culture and talking about it while they dont understand much (if any) of what i am talking about and pointing at. it is quite an eye opener to be the one on the outside.
I dont mind so much though... it is part of it.
I can see the Monte Cassino from my room. it is aweseme
ok, more later. i love you.
