(no subject)
One more day before I move into my new apartment. I am really excited about getting my own place. I just think I will really be able to relax more since I will be able to spread out and not be cooped up in the prison cell that was my room in North Hall.
Granted, I had a great time there, but after hanging out in friend's apartments all the time... i really hated going back and having to check in and sign people in and climb the stairs and elevators all the time... this new place is just going to be so much more convienent.
Especially since i am 21 now... i can just kick back in my own place, come and go as i please... and have my own kitchen. Mom got me this awesome dinnerware set at my aunt's yardsale today... it is W. Dalton..and it is real neat stoneware...called Lemonlime or something. I really like it. Real artsy looking.
Another artsy item I picked up was a coffee table from the Salvation Army for $13. It is quite vintage and has a ton of character.
The more I think about this place and how it is going to be set up... the more i want it to be like a real house, and not a typical college apartment.
I am talking... clean and organized...with like a doormat and everything. haha.
I am sure it will turn into something quite different... but I have high hopes.
Oh yea...and I am leaving for Italy on Tuesday. I am not sure what to think about that. I don't want to think too much about it and get myself worked up or worried about everything that will be going on.
I am just making the most of these few last days of relaxation before I have to jump into the real world.
