RIP Peter Brock.

I honestly couldn't give a shit about Steve Irwan dying, really, it was inevitable, and besides, he was too happy, but he died what he loved doing anyway, but today, Peter Geoffrey Brock, aged 61, died while doing what he loved, racing, it is a very sad day for all Australian motor racing fans as Peter has been racing for a very long time, coming into touring cars in the 70's, he is a legend because he was a genuine guy, never over the top, and he was very spiritual and determined, he was driving a Daytona Coupe which slid out and hit a tree sideways, killing him rather quickly, at around 1130 today.

Myself, like many other Australian's into motor racing, have met him and even just for a signiture, he seemed great, signing "follow your dreams" on the poster, which is up on my door, if I had to name an idol, it was Peter Brock as he started with nothing and ended up an Australian legend.

RIP Peter Brock, February 26, 1945 - September 8, 2006
