*remembers to breathe* It seemed less ominous for a little while, and then... agh. I'm even wondering if it's really flu or poison or something else that was inflicted on him. Maybe on the rocks.

Maybe they're ninjas, indeed. I almost laughed at first.

I like that van Arden would have been the one to try to pick Melo up if Sheppard hadn't beaten her to it.

I like Judy being ruthless with her own wrists but skittish about feeling along his body.

I like Ronon's echolocation. (I suppose I should confess I've never actually seen the show but picked up a lot from my friendlist's fics. I don't know whether this is canon or you made it up. If the latter, I congratulate you.)

Ha! Seeing the immediate response, before you've gotten to the other parts, I can guess at what foreshadowing worked and what didn't.

(The echolocation isn't a canon thing; it just seemed like a thing to do. I might have run across it in my caving research; I don't remember.)
