This is a video of an Hammer Rite at CastleFest 2006.
Keep in mind everyone does things differently. Some Heathens use the Hammer Rite to mark the beginning of their sacred space/time. Some don't. This group uses it, and speaks some german with it.
I find the use of german facinating, mostly because I don't speak any other language fluently. I also use a mini-hammer rite. Mostly to call Thor and ask him to ward over us as we commence the high day. (I call Thor to ward and watch over us pretty much every day as we go out into the world. I have found it to be good practice expecially during winter.)
