Illini Moot 2009
Thanks goes out to Phyllis and Doug B for getting this thing moving! It was totally worth the effort it took to get it organized and the time it took to get there!
We had 11 folks spend the wekend and one daytripper on Saturday. The wood was wet and frozen but thanks to the survival skills of our fellow Heathens we got the fire started and warmed the cabin up quite nicely. The food was great too! Though I think something just a *wee* bit later in the year would be nice. Those midnight trips to the restroom were quite chilly!
My husband took off a good quarter inch section of his left index finger with poor Doug B's hatchet. This is why he is in charge of food, not firewood. But the wights got their flesh and seemed happy with that. He will heal.
Spae session seemed fairly successful. I was the only one to sit in the seat, but there weren't many questions so it turned out ok. Thanks to Becca for playing the warder, you did great! Husband came home with the desire to acutally make a high seat we can take with us, so I won't have to use someone's camping chair! *lol*
It was a great weekend and I feel refreshed and ready to face the world again.
