MCR - so close yet so far
What really sucks is that MCR will be in Hoboken on the 24th, which is 30 min from me, and I can't go. :-( I am a definitive grown-up and have all these pesky responsibilities that will prohibit me from going: mortgages, children, husband, pets, work, Halloween parties to host, homework, choir, the allergist, the vet, .....you get the idea. I begged my sister (who lives in MA) to come down to NJ to go with me, but alas, she too is one of the older-obsessed fans, with all the responsibilities as listed above. It's harder to be impulsive with money & time as we "ripen".
My happiness is that I did see them in Providence RI @ Lupos (with said sister), and @ Bamboozle (with said sister, brother, sister-in-law & 13 yr. old nephew!) last summer. Although Bamboozle was more like trying not to get crushed by surfers, while watching the band muster all the energy they could while thwarting symptoms from their gastrointestinal-illnesses.
