Speed Demon, You're The
Very Same One
Who Said The Future's In
Your Hands
The Life You Save Could Be
Your Own
You're Preachin' 'Bout My
Life Like You're The Law
Gonna Live Each Day And
Hour Like
For Me There's No Tomorrow
I used to think of this song long before MJ died. Whenever I'm coming back down City Creek, I hear this song in my head.
I'm supposed to be cleaning up right now, but damn, it's hot outside and I'm lazy. I want to do a quick bike ride around the cemetery in about an hr or so, get into the habit or riding daily again. Angie sold me a bike that I managed to fix up and am trying to sell now. I found it online for quite a bit and as much as I like it, after riding it up City Creek yesterday, I realized I just prefer my road bike. It's great and I found I was able to go up the inclines faster, but overall, it slowed me down; added about another 30-45 minutes to my ride. Someone who wants a mtn bike should have a really great one. I'm going to put the money aside and see about getting another rd bike. I'll see, I'll see. Now I want a counter for my rd bike; one that will log time and miles. I want to record my progress up City Creek this yr.
Pool days! I spent a few hrs after work on Friday at the pool! Yay! It was SO hot. I kept jumping into the pool to cool off... I suppose that's the whole point. I read some more of The Dark Tower and almost finished except I FELL OUT. I woke up with book in hand, arms sprawled out, my legs were in a indian style, yep. OUT. I guess I needed the sleep.
Life is very uneventful and I like that. No drama, no bullshit, no thoughts of, "Why am I here? Why am I wasting my time?" and a lot of time loving myself. I'm 24 of 27 patrons waiting for Lost season four, so I'm catching up on Weeds; went through the whole eight episode series of Bionic Woman; borrowed Alias season four while I wait for Lost (ohman, Shan and I got into it last night.. I love Sawyer, she hates him!); started the Star Wars saga with episodes one and two, so far (episode two is just THE WORST!!); and I think that's it... couldn't find the new episodes of Dexter (will just have to keep looking) and am finally beefing up my moozik collection. Yes, life is good.
OK. No more procrastinating. Straighten up a bit, no need for cleaning; get on my bicicleta de amor; get outside.
