Gah!
So much has been going on!
The bathroom remodeler came over. So much has now been explained about out downstairs bathroom. The tub is in a weird place on a steel plate because it used to be across the way until the floor broke and they moved it. It also explains why we have a built in cabinet above the toilet. The reason the tub is insanely small is that it is most likely out of a mobile home. This is also why we don't have a proper surround.
Nanowrimo-wise I'm at 28k, right on par with where I need to be by the end of today. I had a buffer of 5k, but this weekend killed me. I made up some ground at the write-in on Sunday, but then lost it on Monday running errands. I have write-ins every few days so hopefully that will help. I'm more excited about this year's than I have been in years past so I'll take that as a good sign.
The Doctor Who promos on BBC America are absolutely astounding. I can't wait for the specials.
I've now confirmed that my DVD player is in fact truly region free and has the built in ntsc/pal converter. Both of my DVD players in fact. I'm so excited.
My father doesn't want to celebrate Christmas at the house this year. He wants to celebrate after we go to my grandfather's on Christmas Eve. My sister's and I are in agreement that this is a load of crap so if he chooses to do so we'll be going to Casey's and celebrating there. This has happened with the fourth of July before. It was rainy and cold one year, but the fireworks were still on so we all went and he stayed home by himself. He then felt like an ass for doing so. I figure the same thing will happen on Christmas.
