For all those who wished me safe travels, it worked! I got home safe and sound... and actually made decent time tonight! YAY! Aaaand it only rained when I was getting close to seattle rather than the entire time.
Much of what I would have posted about was already written by a very on-top-of-it
Devon! So check that out first! :D
Let's see... what didn't Devon mention... *ponders*
I definitely enjoyed not having volunteering activities this morning, since I got to sleep in until 11:30am, while Devon and Rachel were up a fair bit earlier than me... (Rachel, I still want to hear a bit more about your *joyous* efforts to clean up the river ;) but my sleep was well deserved! Since I was driving home from 8-11pm and needed to be awake!! Which thankfully I was ^_^
Devon was definitely very cute with her fascination with the newts and slugs... and her slug hat... *laughs*
Oh yes, something I forgot in my last post as well... although I feel a bit bad, I'm a bit too amused by Rachel's ticklishness... I know that it's mostly her fun reactions (jumping and such) as well as the utterly adorable sounds she produces... it just makes me want to keep it up! But I forced myself to be good... and I kept her from flinching any time I went near her, most of the time... *g*
And I think my final note should be, that while very amusing, it can be frustrating trying to teach two girls to use an xbox! They don't listen very well :D But crashing cars is still fun for anyone! No matter what their skill level
