(no subject)
I have a strange addiction to watching the Food Network Challenge. I find it strangely compelling. Considering it's basically just people decorating cakes I'm not quite sure why I find it so interesting. I've just found a mini marathon of them on now and so I shall be stuck here for a while, well at least until the Golden Globes red carpet starts. Then I shall be spending my time looking for all of my favourite fellas. I do love watching the red carpet, it's so much fun looking at all the terrible dresses!
Slight side note. I just had a clear nose bleed, exactly like a nose bleed but with what seemed like water. It was very weird.
Back to the original topic, award shows. I am currently very happy as I have just realised that I am off work when the Oscar's are on!! Woohoo! I thought I was gonna have to pull a sickie so I could stay up and watch them but as it turns out, I'm on holiday when they're on! I love it when a plan comes togather...
I found out on Friday that I might be going to Poland with a few guys from my work. They've invited me to go to Sonisphere with them so we can go see Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeath! We've just got to see if we can still get tickets. I should get some funny looks from everyone else in work when the four of us go in and book the same few days off!
It's now 10.40pm and I am abso-frickin-lutely roasting! I am so warm it's ridiculous. I've got the ceiling fan on full and it's really not helping.
Also I have found what could possibly be my favourite quote from anything ever, it seriously had me in hysterics, I actually hap to pause the dvd for about 10 minutes so I could start to breathe again. Most people probably won't find it that funny but god, I did.
Sam Tyler: Who the hell are you?
Gene Hunt: Gene Hunt. Your DCI. And it's 1973. Almost dinner time. I'm 'aving 'oops.
