I am in London!
Well, I am in London and doing pretty well considering I got no sleep on the flight from LAX. I did splurge and get a day pass to the Air New Zealand's first class lounge especially when I heard the flight would be packed and I had several hours to kill in the airport. Lots of food and a really good cappuccino machine.
I wound spending part of the flight talking to the flight attendants who were willing to talk and got some extra granola bars and deck of cards which may be handy.
My hotel is in Earl's Court and really nice, although I'd forgotten how tiny the rooms are. Off to the National Gallery, they're supposed to be late tonight. Already went to Sloane Street and gazed wistfully at shoes and handbags at Roger Vivier.
