Summer semester is over!

The summer session is over tomorrow; the lab portion is done - I just need to finish grading the lab final. The final was worth 50 points or 20% of their final lab grade, so I had to strike a balance with being fairly comprehensive without making it a long test. It wound up being 20 questions, most of which were short answer and worth 3-4 points

Where did the summer go? Kids around here start school next week. Yes, you read that right - school starts next week.

For at least one school district in my area, classes started this past Monday - but the rest of schools start this coming Monday. I really don't know where the summer went - I didn't get nearly the things done I wanted....

Yeah, I'm really cleaning my house this weekend and finishing going through the closets I started last weekend. I also have to head to my parents' house - they're in San Fran visiting my siblings for two weeks - at least they have cable and a 50" plasma tv for SGA next Friday and I'll get caught up on Project Runway (my one guilty pleasure).
