Halloween Party Poster

Hi Guys! I haven't posted or vectored in a very, very long time but inspiration struck in the form of a pin-up/zombie girl Halloween poster for a party I'm helping to throw. This is most definitely a work in progress, but I need some outside help to improve it. I've been staring at it so long I can't even see straight.

*Messed up hand notwithstanding, what else needs improvement?
*Should I highlight the hair or leave it matte?
*And what about that background?
*What could I do to make her more zombiefied?
