ConFuzzled : short con report
The venue was kinda nice and Castlefield in Manchester is a really nice location. It fitted perfectly to the victorian theme.
I know it's a YHA but we seriously lacked of Air Conditionned on the main stage at the first dance. (Un)fortunately, the YHA staff shortened the dance very quick. At the sunday dance, the main stage was way cooler.
The YHA staff was very effective and most of them really liked the fursuits. Some of the girls were even at the dances ! It's always nice to interact with non furs and I'll keep great memories from these moments, before and during the dances.
It was a quite balanced con, with really nice furs & fursuits with enough SIGs (but not too much). I wasn't bored at any time. It's really nice to meet further the UK fandom in that way.
That was also the first time I did fursuiting at a con and that was a blast ! I really enjoyed to suit during these few days and I'm know totally addicted to fursuiting ! It strongly reinforced my attachment to my Caribou, Prancer.
I didn't expect the pawpet show to be that good. As most of people who attended, I cannot stopped to laugh even during intermissions. :D
I'm really looking forward for CF2010. The new venue should be a real improvement (although we didn't see the annoucement because we had to leave before the group photo.) I hope to see news soon about it.
