What.

So I go to CBS.com to watch one of the TV shows I missed this past Monday because you can't expect a nerd like me to miss the three hours of "Heroes" premiere stuff on NBC, can you? I'm thinking "Oh, it's only two days later. The video should be up by now." And what to my befuddled eyes should appear?

This!

And it's linked to on the front page of CBS.com! Right there, in the little strip with all the shows in it. The "Featured Videos" section, no less! This is unacceptable, CBS. Go across the street and talk to somebody in C|Net's New York office. They'll tell you how it's supposed to be done. In fact, might I suggest Don Reisinger or Natali del Conte? They're both very intelligent people who know a thing or two about Internet television and can point out to you the Cleveland-sized hole in your plan.

P.S.
For bonus points, a show that aired not even twenty-four hours ago is "no longer available." Look, CBS, I know your network's target demographic is old people who leave the TV on so they don't feel alone, but sometimes you fail upwards and get a show people like. In order to make money, you should make these shows available online for people to watch. People with busy schedules that make lots of money they'd love to spend on fine products advertised by your sponsors. Savvy, intelligent people who use Firefox and buy network-attached storage. Big-ticket folks.
"The Big Bang Theory" is a show aimed directly at people who are most comfortable watching TV shows on their computers: nerds. And what do you do? You don't even make it possible to watch a single episode online!

My opinion of your network's management can be clearly summed up in three words: "You are idiots."

tv, interwebs, computers, idiocy, rants
