The Walk of Life
Tonight, almost everybody got together for Ashley's birthday and at the end of the night, it felt like we were all going our separate ways in some kind of diaspora. I had a great time with everybody, as usual, but it still felt oddly poignant for some reason.
Ashley's leaving for Parts Unknown to work thanklessly for Barack Obama's presidential campaign.
Johnnie, Jeff, and Todd are going off to Canada for a week or so.
Jeremy's going to Florida for a while.
And me, I'm off to see the Wizard.
