Fascination In Dreams

Well, I had another dream in which I can fly. And once again, I had no control over it. Everytime I can fly in a dream, I can never control my movemets. If I want to go fast in a certain direction, I just float. And when I want to stop or slow down I can't. I really wonder what this means. Way way back in the day I used to be interested in hypnotism, telepathy, and asterial projection... and supposedly while your sleeping your astral body floats above you and thats where flying dreams come from. Its the most obvious explanation of course! ;)

Supposedly flying dreams happen mainly to creative people who are into art, music, and other things that require a good imagination. It may mean that you feel trapped or something of the like but you have to look at whats going on in your life in order to find the cause.

I used to have really freaked out dreams, but I read somewhere if you consciously create a trigger in your mind while awake... something like "If I'm flying I'm dreaming." as soon as you realize that you are in fact dreaming you'll be able to control it. The first couple of times I woke up afterwards I was like "doh! I forgot to remember my trigger." But after awhile my mind got used to it and I'm able to realize I'm dreaming and be able to control the dream(its a pretty cool ability) Lately I've been having weird dreams about 'everyday' life where nothing particularly strange happens so I have no reason to suspect its a dream till I wake up, and most of the time I don't remember until later in the day when I remember things that never happened, and realize oh yeah, that was a dream I had last night. Fun stuff, good luck with trying to control it next time :)
