Still a Boy

I’m twenty
and in two years
college is done
and youth gone.
I’ll be planted
in a job that
I better like and
the next goal is to
find a wife-
plan for kids.
In a heartbeat
I’ll be forty
and halfway dead,
but today
I am still twenty,
taking a nap
in the sun and
I drool like a goddamn child.
