An update from the land of 40 below

Jan 28, 2006 01:32

Lets see... well other than it not really being 40 below here, there is stuff to report (for a change).

So for those of you who aren't facebook whores and haven't checked my profile - you shall be interested to know that I... yes me... have joined a sorority. Supress your shock please. as of last sunday i am officially a Tri-Delta pledge. Shocking, I know. but for real, these girls know how to party. I've had a mixer every night this week and they've been pretty awesome. they've run the gamut from mexican themed all the way through saki bombing and a "golf pros and tennis hos" party. So they rock.. tridelts that is

yeah so - maybe we're not the "hottest" sorority on campus, but we have a hell of a lot more fun than the ones that feel like an image is required of them.

I had an awesome drunk experience today that i must share with everyone. I was in Bear Nasties (the convenience store/grill on North Campus) with a bunch of girls from my pledge class. We're all sittin there eating our food being rather obnoxious, and its still pretty early so mostly sober people are in Nasties. Well we start talking about music and somehow... Meatloaf comes up. Course this spawns two out of three aint bad, but more so.. a wonderful singing of Paradise by the Dashboard Light.

So picture.. a bunch of girls... in miniskirts (the theme was tennis)... singing "Do you love me.. will you love me forever will you need me, will you never leave me. will you make me so happy for the rest of my life will you take me away will you make me your wife will you love me... will you love me forever!" so this is pretty funny in itself. However, a guy apparently enjoyed our singing so much that he started a slow clap and soon we had everyone in nasties clapping for us.

well with the exception of the Pi Phi girls who were just too stupid to get it!

lol i love my sisters. they rock
