feel fortunate dear livejournal, that i am giving up precious minutes of sleep (since this is my one and only day without 8 am classes) to write a little note in you.
Seriously, college is way too busy for livejournal, at least for me. Perhaps Cornell is just too busy for livejournal. I'm getting off of a killer bio prelim and a french exam where i actually knew what was going on *but we'll wait and see if my grade reflects that*. So today was my day to slack off and only read my bio chapter and part of my psych work.... and take a 2 1/2 hour nap of course. we'll lay out my daily schedule for you shall we?
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays:
8am writing seminar with a Canadian TA who enjoys grammar more than is healthy... and a bunch of engineers who really don't understand literature,
9 - bio lecture, i try and pry my eyes open for the whole thing for fear that premeds will kill me for doing better than them on the prelim (and by better we mean like an 80 instead of a 70),
10 - psych, coolest prof ever plus its AP Psych with fun movies added to lecture,
break - w00t,
12 - french, where my TA tells funny stories about crazy french people and how they hate how americans are usurping their language
then i go back, eat lunch, usually fall asleep with my face in my philosophy book and snooze for about 2 hours. I get my ass up only for dinner and volleyball practice
Tuesdays:
8am bio lab. ewww. 3 hours
Cardio kickboxing - painful
philosophy - nap time
thursdays are the same minus bio lab - if i decide to not go to kickboxing, i dont have to wake up until 2 in the afternoon, i havent tried that yet because i want to get credit for my gym this semester
on a happy note: no classes before 10 next semester! whoopi! (who by the way came to cornell last weekend and who is awesome)
now the debate, do i take perception or intro to social psych... think very carefully, though social psych sounds cool, i have to take an 8 am bio lab if i take it. opinions are welcome.
on the docket for this weekend:
friday - rocky horror at 11:30 pm, might party after, but unlikely since will end at like 2 am.
saturday - study, maybe go out, see if the parties are good, do french project
sunday - this is the day when cornell students hole themselves up in the library and never leave
i have a 400 word french essay due on friday. then a french project, then a psych prelim.
thanks to the lunatic, i will leave you with this "prelim - short for preliminary examination, a fancy word for test, sounds better when saying "i just got buttfucked by that physics prelim""
