Gold star to the first person who correctly identifies that quote!
WARNING: Typical first day of classes post to follow:
I have two hours of Spanish MWF and that's exciting cause I can really get in Spanish mode. And it is two different classes. The greatest suck factor to it is that I'm in the same room for those 2 hours. Both classes are gonna require a lot of work, both have daily quizzes as well as group presentations. In addition to tests and essays. However, this should be my last heavy quarter here. A guy from my 201, 202, and 203 class is in my 331 class which is really cool since I haven't seen him in almost two years (other than the occasional run in at Haggen). And my lovely miss Erin is going to be in my 352 class which means that I will have her in there and that I will have a friendy for that class too.
Peoples of Asia is gonna be tight. On the first day of class, the prof already told us that Bellingham is, other than Blaine the northern most part of the United States (I think he forgot about Alaska!) But other than that, it's read four books, and write four 700-800 word papers. Which consists of nearly the whole grade, however perfect attendance gets you a + added to any grade (except an A)!
The TA Anth position should be good. I'm just excited not to be in classroom. I get to help and not have my face shown too much.
So it's a 50/50 split. 2 hard Spanish classes and 2 moderate Anth classes. I think I'm gonna make it this quarter after all!
Lastly I could potentially be done the Monday of finals week because I only have one in class final. Which would mean that I would have the 10th of December until the 8th of January off! That is soo a month!!
Ohh one more thing, I went to the REC center today. So here's to improved physical shape now too!
P.S. my car still isn't fixed, here's for try three tomorrow!
