warm summer day

so after like a week of coldness, this week has finally been nice. and i like it a lot.
since my last entry i have:
-gone to training for my lakehost job. dani dow was there, she is working for northwood lake. it was the first time i had really talked to her and i had no idea how nice and funny she was.
-gone job searching and previewing for college shopping with bud. she had her interview for American Eagle today. i really hope she got the job b/c it is PERFECT for her and she's been searching for like a month now and REALLY deserves it! that day i also went with a bunch of people to visit miss jenny (aka best johnson's waitress EVER) and then i went out to eat w/ the whole fam at libby's in durham.
-had a father's day breakfast at young's in durham and then went to see batman begins (really good!)
-gone to best buy a bunch of times with dad to browse
-bought a new cell phone! 496-5986 :)
-set up a checking account
-went to the beach with emily
-went to summer volleyball and am still feeling pain from that
-watched tons of wimbledon and the NBA finals
-watched coach carter, assault on precinct 13, and some of miss congeniality 2 with bud
-saw bewitched with em (not as funny as i thought)
and lastly
-went to susty's tonight with em and her parents. Mmmmm.
so yeah i am keeping my summer filled, thankfully
oh yeah! i also got another job. it's not really much, but it's something. my lake host boss called me the other day and asked me if i was interested in baby-sitting her grandson when her son and his family come out to stay with her in august. it is only for like two weeks before i go back to school, but i think it is every day or close to it, 3-5 hours every day, and $10 an hour. so it's not a lot but it's quick cash before i head to school. so i'm excited about that, and i thought it was so nice that doris (my boss) thought of me and called me up. i can't decide if i'll bother with looking for another job that i'll have to quit come august. we shall see.
