Yet again, much has happened in my life since my last entry.
Jon and I have lived together for almost a year now. I became an aunt, and Adrianna Nicole is the most beautiful baby anyone's ever seen. My dad left for Ohio at 2:45 this morning, where he will be staying permanently. I have airline tickets to go see him and my step-family in July and am SO excited. Working at SF Market has been quite a rollercoaster with the change of management and staff. Poor Jackie was diagnosed with breast cancer and she's only 25. Now Lydia's taken over her responsibilities (mostly) and seems to have a stick up her ass at all times. Worst scheduler ever. Anyway, that's enough about work.
I recently returned from a trip to Colorado, where I saw Tom Petty at Red Rocks. SO EPIC! The state was absolutely gorgeous and I'm so moving there one day. While we were in Denver, Jon, Marie, Shelby and I went to the Body Worlds exhibit. That was amazing. However, there was one section of it that had these fetuses back from the 1920's and I had to walk out of that. I started crying a little. Other than that, the smoker's lungs, the spine with scoliosis, the circulatory structures and the cross section of the obese man were really incredible. All of it was, but really... WOW. The trip would've been perfect had the Moss kids not gone, but what can you do with a crazy mom and a dad that works long shifts and an unreliable family? Nothing, right? Oh well.
Right now, I'm trying to get into the U of A, so I can study nutrition. I despise paperwork and administration buildings. Boo for that. Boo for paying almost $5000 a semester. At least I'm getting it done... or trying to get it done. All I know is that when I have a bachelor's degree, I'm gonna be SO happy. Being done with school will feel inexplicably good. Can't wait.
