developmental hurdle
This evening in the bath Spartacus worked out the 4-times table. You know, one four, two fours, etc. up to eleven fours equaling 44; I know he understands it because when we got to 36 + 4 = 40, he knew that was ten fours and four tens, and he remembered that 40 is also four tens when you count by tens.
He's four and a half! His nursery teacher is teaching him simple fractions. I am kind of hoping he doesn't get too bored when he actually starts doing math at school.
Or I don't know, maybe this is just normal.
