television and a question

This may be a stupid question but I will throw it open to my friendslist: I still haven't uploaded Blessings to that Supernatural crossover archive because I can't decide whether it's a series or a single multi-chaptered story. I go back and forth and back and forth and I can't upload the damn thing until I decide which one. I mean, I think of it ( Read more... )

Tommy? Was INSANELY muscular. And pasty. His abs and arms scared the lust right out of me. I think that's what they call manorexic. I much prefer Kevin's furry chest and lack of definition.

I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one who was kind of freaked out by that chest. Kevin was also pretty built, but not so scarily so.

I know -- he's supposed to be some retired artist type, but a body like that takes a lot of hard work, you know? And I know it makes sense for actors to put in that work, but it didn't seem right for the character.

Then again, he's clearly pretty good with the violence, so who knows, maybe he does spend every spare hour at the gym.

"Blessings" reads like a single story with multiple chapters, to me, fwiw.

Also: Mmm, "Blessings."

That's useful to me, really.

::sigh:: Blessings, indeed.

Blessings is strongly threaded, if it isn't actually one through-line story. I'm leaning toward chapters of a single story, I think.

I thought Tommy's muscles were disgusting, personally. And sometimes the way his head and neck go together look really freaky. I thought he was quite attractive in the first ep, but now I'm not so into it.

I feel very alone in disliking this show -- I know there are a few people who don't like it either, but the ones who do seem to really love it and I just don't get why.

I liked the first episode -- didn't love it, but liked it enough to keep watching it this week. I'm not sure how long they can keep up the Usual Suspects thing, or whether they actually mean the narration to be unreliable. That would please me.

Everyone seemed much stupider this week than last week.

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one to find the muscles off-putting. They creeped me out.

I watched about half of the pilot and then deleted it. Seemed like flash over substance, and a throwback to some concept of eastern cities of the 30s, where there are no icky Asians or blacks screwing up the fun Old World-style tension between the Italians and the Irish. (WTF?)
