I try not to make my episode recaps all about John, so I didn't comment much on this but...
PARAMILITARY SURVIVALIST TYPE!!!!!
I am just so full of ::flail:: and ::guh:: and "oh, perfect!" Because it's exactly how John would look from the outside, and in it's way it's exactly right. It's just that John's not worried about the government coming after him, or nuclear war, or whatever human conspiracy is du jour in those circles.
This ties in with something I've often thought about John, and his time in the Marines -- that he learned a certain amount about secret wars in those years, but never thought he'd be fighting one on his home soil.
But mostly, I am jumping up and down with glee. Well, inside. It would be bad if I were doing that in my office.
