Abby Mann has died.
He made Telly Savalas a detective and thus created Kojak.
He also wrote one of my favorite movies of all time, Judgement at Nuremburg, which kicks ass and kicks you in the crotch about the 'banality of evil' and the war trials following the fall of the Nazi regime. A must see.
He did other cool shit, but I'm supposed to be working at the moment, so - *hat's off*
