dead on lj
So I kinda died on lj....Blame facebook, playfish and their damn fb games lol -3-;
This may be late news but in February I got a cat of my own!! My first ever ♥ Unfortunately my cats back home in Malaysia don't really count because my mom never let them in the house so they became semi-feral cats ;___; I never had the chance to have a real relationship with Neko and Cobweb.
I got him from SPCA and he was originally named Cedric. He's a domestic long haired mix (I suspect Turkish Angora >_>) and he's white all over! He's got a funny crescent mark over the bridge of his nose, sort of like a scar. Interestingly he's originally a feral cat and was rehabilitated for adoption.
Getting him was sort of an interesting story...I was constantly stalking the cat section on SPCA's website ever since I decided I was going to get a cat when I moved and I noticed Kuja on the pages a lot.
I was thinking it would be wonderful if I could get him because he was so so pretty (I even told my mom I would love to adopt him) but because the timing wasn't right (still moving, no time, had to go to LA etc.) I decided I couldn't get one yet. Then when I went to LA, his listing was taken off the site so I thought he was already adopted /sadfaced.
But then when I finally got to go to SPCA to adopt a cat...there he was, sitting in one of the rooms!! I was so freaking excited but I went around and looked at all the cats first because I wanted to give them a chance. I couldn't really concentrate though, I was so anxious someone else would get him first and I quickly rushed back to say hi to him.
He was a super super sweet boy, the moment me and my mom went into the room he came right up to us purring and giving sweet cheek rubs. Even the SPCA staff girl that came with us commented that it was surprising because he's usually shy in the beginning. He totally won over my mom, who wasn't really a cat person lol XD I was like "Should I get him??" and my mom went "Yes, do it!!".
It's funny how I ended up getting him anyway...maybe this is called jodoh?
Kuja loves humans a lot, with a preference for girls and follows me everywhere in the house. He gets lonely when I'm out the whole day and gets really clingy afterwards. He also loves cuddling up to me when I'm on the sofa watching tv and he's a biiiiggg cat. When he sits on me he covers my entire torso lol! He purrs a lot and loves cheek rubs. He's really bossy with other cats tho ;w;
For some reason he doesn't really care about food so he never wakes me up to feed him -3-; He also only eats when I'm at home O_o
He's mostly a good boy, but he has a really bad habit. He loves to chew plastic TAT;; So my house is plastic-proofed now. He even chewed on one of my posters (which was wrapped in plastic) and left teeth marks on it sob. He doesn't seem to eat it, I think he just enjoys the act of chewing it because I don't see any plastic bits in his poop *__*;
Weird thing is I can bath him with no problems but he hates getting his claws clipped >_> He needs three people to trim his claws wtf.

In other news, this term turned out to be the most interesting one work-wise. I managed to land 2 freelance gigs working in games which is awesome and will help my resume like crazy. A big thanks to Tall Chair and Daniel for the opportunities. And also Carla who is totally awesome and helped me get in on the projects.
The term is gonna end in a week! Freak out. I have 1 creature to finish sculpting in Zbrush and 2 essays to do aughhh. I am 90% going for a trip to Japan in summer too so that is crazy exciting. Gotta pull up a list of shops I want to visit...Swimmer is number one on the list! I've gotten into mori girl fashion too, so I'm hoping to visit some of the shops. I really want to go to Mother, but their clothes are soooo expensive >__
