Really? I thought he was quite awkward around Orihime, I seem to remember him flailing around a lot with her in the SS arc. Chad hardly ever says anything, so that's why there's no problem there...

Hah! Wouldn't that be more awkward, what with the UST floating around and all? XD

IMO, he's awkward with Orihime and Renji *because* he doesn't treat his interactions with them as battles. It's a new experience for the poor sausage.

Yes, I was completely taken in by the dramatic set-up. *L* My favorite touch was the description of the burst blister on his poor, abused hands.

I had a lot of fun writing the gruesomeness of the burst blister, so I'm glad that it worked well!

That was very cute. It's so amusing that he could easily take on a hoard of hollow but a gaggle of girl is too much for him to deal with. *g* Very nice!

I'm suddenly getting echoes of Clark Kent (from the movies, not that Smallville rubbish).

Dark hair, glasses - speshul uniform.... Kent was awful with the laydees in his everyday wear, but stick him in his costume, and his power was over 9000.

Oh, the crack cross-over possibilities!
