7veils: This article just popped up on my web-trawlling, and I wanted to draw your attention to it YWCA Elm Centre - new article about the place your friend is at, yes? Or is this a different place, operating along similar lines?

rroselavy: I had the pleasure of going to this exhibition about two weeks ago. Their shop is still selling modern repro (but still woodblocked) prints. The colours are beautiful. For more of the original woodblock prints, the Japanese Gallery has some online, but a lot more in store. I can't walk past without looking in. What was fabulous about the exhibition was I was able to see two prints there, that also had old prints in the other shop and compare them, get a feel for how time alters the colours.
If you ever are trying to source a particular print, let me know and I can take a look there for you.

corellian_sugar; following on from my last post about the real-life "zombie" - a bit more about the perpetrator, but basically still no idea. I like what
ldybastet said in the comments, that news sources will probably keep mis-attributing zombie-ism until it's too late.
Along similar lines, just sharing because I can - cannibalism of a sort: chef serves his own genitalia as a dish to paying guests. There are pictures, for example, on Huffington Post's site, if that doesn't make you squeamish.
