Hehe. Neither is as pretty. At least, with the angles we saw here. I'm waiting on seeing more teasers before I declare it though.

Seems like a pretty standard Madhouse design for them though - they never make their characters particularly pretty, not even for Devil May Cry. Are Ackles and Padelecki definitely doing the voicework for this? I heard somewhere that they might just be voicing the first couple of episodes.

That design does work for SPN - I can think of a millionty things that woukld have been wrong.

I've not heard anything definite about the dub cast - I don't want to be spoiled for SPN season 6, so I miss a lot of these details.

Huh. Sam is Director Kira from Corda and Dean is Marion Cross in D.Gray-man (looking at wiki, I don't think you've actually seen this guy in anything...)

I knew about the Japanese casting - just not the English one. I think it's safe to get info from ANN - that's not going to have spoilers on SPN6 - so yay for some dubbing at least! And if Red Hood is anything to go by, Ackles isn'tadverse to doing that type of work.

I liked Uchida's suits in the Korda vids. As for Tochi - I've heard him in Kuroshitsuji, natch, and as Abel Nightroad ;)

You already knew? You could've told me! *pouts* And have you watched any of UTRD yet?

I'm not so sure about the Japanese voices though. It's going to be really weird hearing characters speak Japanese as it is, so I think this is a case where I'd actually prefer the dub.

They're generally a pretty good company (I think they also did the Last Order OAV?), so at the very least it'll be good quality.

I also quite like the DMC anime. Tell no-one. ;)

Phew. XD It's not that it's a bad series, it's just not as action packed as the games and I think that threw a lot of people off.

Well, we'll just have to wait and see.

I liked the slice of life aspect that it had at times. Although, there were moments that Dante seemed a little too asshole-ish to me. And no matter how hard I try I can't like Patty.

I've posted an ANN link a few comments up with who's playing Sam and Dean. Not 100% sure about them, but I think this is one I'd like to see dubbed anyway.

Some of it worked - I loved the Lady and Trish fight, for example, and the one with the childhood friend because of who plays said friend - but Patty never really fit and there were times were it was obviously trying to reference little details from the games (Dante telling Trish not to act like his Mum) and never really expanded on them. That was really frustrating.
