Snowflake Challenge Day 3 & Fannish Roundup 2015
Day 3: In your own space, post a rec for at least three fanworks that you have created. It can be your favorite fanworks that you've created, or fanworks you feel no one ever saw, or fanworks you say would define you as a creator. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. 1. [podfic] The Peacock Paladin and the King of the Emerald Court (Draco/Harry)
My absolute favourite fanwork that I created this year was co-podficcing megyal's stunning The Peacock Paladin and the King of the Emerald Court with fire_juggler for hd_collab fest. I was reading the "fairy tale" parts of the story in Harry's mind, where Harry is the King of the Emerald Court and Draco his trusted Paladin. Fire read the real world parts where Draco is a mind healer and Harry suffers from excruciating headaches. I recorded the story in the house in the Black Forest where I stayed on my own for the time, and it was just wonderful to have the landscape of the Kinzig valley before me when I did the recording. :)
2. The Fine Old Truth (Draco/Harry)
This was my story for the final year of hds_beltane, written for chibitoaster. It was such a pleasure to invent a wizarding Old Folks' Home, which is pretty much how I want an old folk's home to be: in the middle of London, with a buzzing train station attached, and basically like a very comfortable hotel that likely only the Malfoys of the real world can afford. Harry and Draco, when they are closer to my age than to the age they are in canon, always make me very happy.
3. Bedknobs and Broomsticks, (Holmes/Watson)
This was my entry to last year's 24-hours porn challenge in Sherlock fandom, come_at_once. :)
• Concerning the Winter Soldier (James Buchanan Barnes, Alexander Pierce)
The first "fic" I wrote in the Captain America fandom, this is more meta than anything else. It's a re-telling of Donald Barthelme's "Concerning the Bodyguard", Winter Soldier-style. This was writing itself while I watched the movie. There will be more WS fic. And more of Alexander Pierce. (Don't ask! ;))

My podfic rendition of dicta_contrion's brilliant fic "Rapture". This has been my entry for last year's dracotops_harry Fest.
