Reposting my third gift fic, written for cassisluna at the hd_owlpost Fest, originally posted here. cassisluna asked for Harry and Draco in other than Auror careers, for hurt/comfort and established relationship. This little fic is what I made from those ingredients. Draco is a Healer, Harry a Curse-breaker.

BEAUTIFUL! I love stories that have Draco as Healer, and Harry coming in injured - and this is one of the best I've ever read. I was holding my breath throughout the whole thing. You wrote so descriptively I could visualize it perfectly. So very good, thank you for posting it. I missed most of the Owl Posts, I'm going to need to dig through them for more gems like this (as soon as my Remix is done).

I love the idea that those habits of thought are ingrained from childhood and change only very slowly. This. Even if Draco now has changed his views, I am convinced that it will take him another ten years to get Lucius' voice out of his mind and thoughts. Thank you, darling, for reading and commenting.

I love how your Draco has grown up; what he thinks but doesn't say and then what he ultimately cares to say to Harry. It's a beautiful character study tucked into a 'slice of life' snapshot. Both well done and an enjoyable read!
