Belated Advent #21, 22, 23, 24 and a Rec
I am sure you all have waited with bated breath for the final four pictures from the Father Christmas Advent Calendar. ;)
Well, a whole month later, here they finally are:

Title: Through The Years

Rating: PG-13 (for language)
Contains: folk, indie rock, electro pop, acoustic rock, symphonic metal, pop and alternative rock. The genre sort of gradually changes back and forth.
Mixer's Notes: This mix tells the story of Harry and Draco's lives from the moment they met up till the end (assuming, of course, that they've loved each other from the second they saw each other). The quotes used are from the books, movies, deleted scenes, and my imagination.
Why I rec this: Fanmixes, like all music, are very personal playlists. If you don't like the music, it's very hard to hear Harry/Draco in it. This mix, for me, works perfectly; it has become my music for Harry/Draco right now. There are other songs I have for H/D, too, but I have added more than half of these songs to my ever-growing list. During the last week or so I listened to "Through the Years" non-stop. Obsession is obsession. :)
I recently discovered Mumford & Sons (at black_circle_dj's Selection of Prompt Songs for their ongoing Remus/Sirius Songfest), and was thrilled to find their "Ghosts That We Knew" as xenadragon_xoxo's song for the Sectumsempra-scene.
Even if you never plan to listen to the music, check out the post for Through The Years. The way xenadragon_xoxo combined titles, quotes and lyrics from the songs, she tells a story that you can read even without the soundtrack of the music. In comments, slashedsilver wrote: "Reading it may have made me tear up just a little ;)". I will frankly admit to sobbing while reading it and listening those songs. I may have sung along, too, loudly, with the earphones on. :D
