New information by JKR from Pottermore, Goblet of Fire on The Daily Prophet. No magical internet in the post-war wizarding world, sorry, folks. :)

I love your Pottermore updates. Keep them coming.

This is really interesting about the daily prophet. I love her thoughts on the subject. It makes me want to include these things in fic. Like Molly Weasley getting all gossipy about who violated the statute of secrecy.

I want to write a drabble based on each of your Pottermore updates and the info in the post. That sounds like a lot of fun.

I will definitely keep posting these snippets, for my own Pottermore "archive". It's great that others are finding them useful as well.

Aw, do write the drabbles. That does sound like a lot of fun. When Pottermore had just come out, there was this idea floating around to do a Pottermore Fest, with prompts that need to make use of any new information revealed in Pottermore. I still like the idea.

I think that would be interesting.

I think I will do the drabbles :) It is an easy thing to do, and loads of fun.

Looking forward to reading the drabble, Mari.

I just sent you the mail with your "assignment". Thanks for playing.

You mean because small outsider communities usually are interested in the most diverse stuff and have a hard time to find common consensus? ;)

Yes, of course, because people only use the internet for news...not socialising with people far away (without actually having to be in the same physical space with them), porn, games, meeting new people with similar interests, porn, entertainment, writing and porn.

And interesting enough, in fan fiction when they have wizards using the internet it tends to also be for porn.

Personally, I think I'd feel very uncomfortable relying on one news source. When I hear a news story my first instinct is to hear other perspectives on it. I don't know, maybe it is the writer in me, or maybe this is a product of the internet.

I tend to go with Rowling that for such a small and insular communities as witches and wizwards, the internet would not be as important as it is for us. My sense that for other perspectives one would go into the Leaky. :)

*grins* I really only post this for myself so I have it all handy under the "pottermore"-tag. But I love that you guys are enjoying it, as well.
