1. hd_owlpost
This community was founded in 2011 by kitty_fic as a gift-giving community for H/D fandom. It's been a wonderful place to host a new, low-key Winter Exchange Fest this holiday season, with ample opportunity for all fandomers to create all kinds of gifts ranging from stick art to wizarding recipes to playmobil tableaus. (Statistics on the number and kinds of gifts exchanged will be posted once the fest has come to an end).
2. hd_goldengirl
This is my community, gifted to me by a whole bunch of incredibly generous people for my 10 year LJ anniversary and my 50th birthday. I made the best use of this challenge and FINALLY wrote up the Masterlist of all the gifts I received. They are all mine but you are most welcome to enjoy them, too. ♥
3. rgbrsremembered
This is the first community I co-founded, back in 2002 when I was still calanthe11. I recently updated the profile, and a community was still called a "list". :) The odd community name is an abbreviation for "Ringbearers Remembered" - and maybe we should change that name to something clearer. Something like "Sam/Frodo", as the comm is dedicated to the Ringbearers Sam Gamgee and Frodo Baggins as lovers - in any sense of the word. ♥
Somehow, all the hype about the Hobbit-movies made me long desperately for old-fashioned, canon-based S/F. There will be *things* happening at rgbrsremembered this year; caraloup and me have a small S/F Fest planned for September (yet to be officially announced).
