My Holidays Gifts :)

Jan 03, 2013 19:17

I received the most awesome gifts this holiday season. :D

lomonaaeren wrote me an Advent story:
Title: Bells to the Wild Sky
Summary: Harry and Draco, on the New Year’s Eve of their thirtieth year together, look back on the changes in the wizarding world.
Rating: R
Word count: 1990
This is an amazing look into a future of the wizarding world that none could have foreseen, least of all JK Rowling. And a most brilliant fucking love-making at age 51.

tealeaf523 wrote me a drabble for my prompt:
Prompt: comfort (sex) after Sherlock's "death"
Fandom/Pairing: Lestrade/Watson

Title: After
Summary: It happens too often.
Rating: NC-17
Word count: ~500
Raw and angsty and absolutely real.

lordhellebore wrote a Sam/Frodo story for me at lotr_sesa:
Title: The Road Goes Ever On And On: Sam Gamgee’s Journey To Understanding His Heart
Summary: The longer the Quest goes on, the better Sam understands his feelings for Frodo. But the war destroys much that could have been, and many years later, he finds that his journey is not over yet.
Rating: G
Word count: 7900
This is a beautiful reading of The Lord of the Rings from one Sam/Frodo moment to the next with wonderful insights into not only the working of Sam's mind and heart.

purplefluffycat wrote a story about Sybill Trelawney for me at hoggywartyxmas:
Title: Cassandra's Gift
Summary: In front of her lay the free copy that she had been promised - the people at the Quibbler were very nice; so very much nicer than those horrid scribblers at The Prophet… and here it was in print, word-for-word, exactly as Sybill had spoken it.
Rating: G
Word count: 2700
A wonderful portrayal of Sybill as a Seer and a teacher at Hogwarts. This is a humorous fic, with unexpected moments that left me feeling both sad and a bit awed for the Seer in her.

♥ And alafaye was my Secret Santa and gifted me tea and cookies. *coughcookiesarelonggonecough*
